My Story

Hello, my name is Michaela, I’m an interior designer working in Essex, Suffolk and further afield. I am obsessed with interiors and have always had a love for art, design and architecture. I studied Film at degree level and then went on to study Interior Design at my local University College.

 

I moved to north Essex in 2008, started a family and soon after we started a large renovation project. This instigated my passion for interiors and design and has really helped me understand how spaces function and how this can change as your family grows. 

 

Previous careers have seen me working in music and film and running my own successful London TV Agency. Working as a Television Agent meant matching Researchers, Producers and Directors for specialist factual documentaries, films, and commercials, for channels such as BBC, ITV, ch4 

 

I am an expert matchmaker and have helped place hundreds of people in the right position and I’ve carried this skill across to design, as I believe people, homes and interiors should work together harmoniously. I believe homes should reflect the personalities of the people living in them, evoke emotions and memories and be comfortable and welcoming.

I’m passionate about antique and vintage furniture and love to mix the old with the new, adding character and creating unique spaces. My personal style is classic and timeless with a modern edge. I believe a well designed home should be for everyone and for all budgets.
